Healing

All Healing is Self Healing

Strange as it may seem no one can truly heal another person, because the healing process is a journey of “self” returning to Self. The latter word Self is purposely capitalized here because we are referring to our ego “self’s” individual connectedness to a higher Eternal Intelligence. This grander spiritual Self is of Source, both All That Is, which is accepted on faith, and All That Is Not, which is considered its bipolar opposite, a negation that simply infers plain denial.

All healing is based upon ones awareness and acceptance that each of us have been wounded by a false sense of separation, have been led to follow a desire to heal our illusionary wounds and then ultimately accept the responsibility to assist others in healing their own ego’s self inflicted wounds to truly self actualize. This is the play called “Life”. We are here to live, to learn and to love, however we must remember that we are in a labyrinth and have to find our own way through it.

Our lifetime is spent taking a journey, or we could say that we’re experiencing a sojourn, if you accept the possibility that we live many lifetimes. Either way, we are creating an opportunity for our lower self to reunite with our higher Self. The primary caveat is when we make it all about me, my, mine, myself and I. There are big lessons to learn beyond oneself, yet it is best to begin in a place where we have the most familiarity.

First and foremost, we function on a need to know basis and in every moment have the option to be who we are. Choosing wisely, we are healthy beings, seeking pleasure and avoiding painful experiences. All discomfort is disease and disdainful to ourselves. As we learn to heal ourselves we can effectively assist others.

For purposes of this discussion when we refer to healing we are speaking of more than the alleviation of an individual’s physical body from any symptomatic disease, wound or injury. In addition, ones emotional distress, trauma, and anguish must be addressed as well as any intellectual impediment and/or spiritual interference that may hinder ones harmony with nature. Healing therefore requires dealing with four components of a human being: Physical, Emotional, Intellectual and Spiritual.

Remedying apparent outer symptoms is not the only aspect of healing that requires consideration. This is just the proverbial tip of the iceberg, the portion that is exposed and most commonly referred to by many who practice traditional western medicine. In fact, the application of a topical ointment and external bandage to a wound is not indeed an act of healing; it’s merely a dressing.

All healing of the wound itself happens from the inside, and then it gradually progresses outward. The kabalistic phrase, “as above so below” more profoundly stated reveals the truth of healing which is “from inside, out.”

Those who seek only symptomatic relief are only fooling themselves. You cannot totally heal without getting to the source of your disease. You must identify the cause (the origin of your pain and discomfort) to achieve a healthy state, or you will only temporarily feel better before regressing back into a noticeable unhealthy frame. This happens because negative forcing functions are present, and until they are handled, these detrimental entities will continually interfere with your life force energy by wreaking havoc in your physical body again and again.

Your personal efforts do make a difference. You have free will and can influence your path of destiny. Fate is the only inherited circumstance, however it is up to you to take charge of your own healing.

Permissiveness to heal oneself is mandatory before working with another. All assistance with ones self-healing requires a consensual agreement between the facilitator and the recipient. If you choose to be guided or taught by a health professional, what matters most is having a comfortable connection with him or her. A qualified facilitator understands how to help you heal yourself and can guide you through the healing process as well as show you how to efficiently terminate negative forcing functions that are plaguing you.
